Your Website Analytics

The Analytics page in your Static.app dashboard provides valuable insights into your website's performance and audience behavior. Upon accessing this section, you'll first see the General Analytics view, which serves as your comprehensive dashboard for overall traffic and key summarized data. The data displayed in Analytics is directly impacted by your chosen Analytics Settings.

How to Access Your Website Analytics

  1. Log in to your Static.app dashboard.
  2. Select the specific website project whose analytics you wish to view from your Sites page.
  3. Navigate to the Analytics section from your website's dashboard menu.

Understanding General Analytics

Upon entering the Analytics section, the General view immediately provides a rich overview of your website's activity. This primary dashboard displays core metrics and includes high-level summaries from other detailed analytics categories:

    • Total Requests: The cumulative number of times any file (HTML pages, images, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) on your website has been requested by visitors. This indicates the overall demand for your site's content.
    • Unique Visitors: An estimated count of distinct individuals who have accessed your website within a specific period. Static.app uses privacy-focused methods to provide a reasonable approximation of your unique audience size.
    • Bandwidth: The total amount of data transferred from your website's servers to visitors' browsers, measured in megabytes (MB) or gigabytes (GB). This is important for understanding resource consumption.

The Analytics page also presents concise data from more specific categories:

For a deeper dive into the data for each of these categories, you can click on the View Full Analytics button within the Analytics section.
