Requests Analytics

The Requests section within your website's Analytics in Static.app provides a crucial breakdown of which files and pages on your site are being accessed most frequently. This data helps you understand what content resonates most with your audience, allowing you to prioritize optimization and content strategy.

How to Access Requests Analytics

  1. Log in to your Static.app dashboard.
  2. Select the specific website project whose analytics you wish to view from your Sites page.
  3. Navigate to the Analytics section from your website's dashboard menu.
  4. From the Analytics dashboard, select the Requests link to view the detailed request data.

What You'll See in Requests Analytics

The Requests Analytics page lists the individual files and URLs that have been requested from your website, along with key performance metrics for each:

  • Name: The filename or URL path of the requested asset (e.g., /index.html , /images/logo.png , /contact.html ).
  • Visitors: The number of unique visitors who have requested this specific file or page. This helps pinpoint popular content based on individual interest.
  • Hits: The total number of times this specific file or page has been requested. A "hit" occurs every time the file is loaded, even if by the same visitor multiple times.
  • Bandwidth: The total amount of data transferred (in MB or GB) for this particular file or page. This indicates the resource consumption of individual assets.
