OS Analytics
The OS section within your website's Analytics in Static.app provides detailed insights into the different operating systems your visitors use to access your site. Understanding this data can help you optimize your website for the platforms most popular with your audience.
How to Access OS Analytics
- Log in to your Static.app dashboard.
- Select the specific website project whose analytics you wish to view from your Sites page.
- Navigate to the Analytics section from your website's dashboard menu.
- From the Analytics dashboard, select the OS link to view the operating system breakdown.
What You'll See in OS Analytics
The OS Analytics page lists various operating systems detected from your visitors, along with key performance metrics for each:
- Operating System: The name and version of the operating system used by visitors (e.g., Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, Linux).
- Visitors: The number of unique visitors detected using that specific operating system. This helps you identify the primary platforms your audience uses.
- Hits: The total number of requests (or "hits") made to your website by visitors using that particular operating system. This indicates the overall activity level of users on that platform.
- Bandwidth: The total amount of data transferred (in KB, MB, or GB) to visitors using that operating system. This can be useful for understanding resource consumption across different platforms.
