Password Protect Individual Pages
Static.app allows you to protect individual pages with a password. This gives you full control over who can access specific content on your website, without affecting the rest of your website.
This feature is ideal when you need to share content privately, preview work before publishing, or restrict access to sensitive information.
How to Set Up Password
- Open your website on Static.app dashboard

- Choose the page you want to protect, click the three dots, and choose Settings

- Set a password for that page by enabling Password Protection

- Save your changes and publish; this is how your page will look.

Once enabled, anyone visiting that page will see a password prompt. Share the password only with the people who should have access.
What is Page Password Protection?
Page password protection allows you to lock a single page behind a password. Visitors will be prompted to enter the password before viewing the page content.
Only people with the correct password can access the page. All other pages on your site remain publicly available unless you choose to protect them as well.
Common Use Cases
Password-protected pages are useful in many real-world scenarios, including:
- Private previews of new pages or features before launch
- Client reviews and approvals without making content public
- Internal documentation or team-only resources
- Temporary access to draft or work-in-progress content
- Sharing sensitive information securely
Important Notes
- Password protection applies only to the selected page
- Search engines will not be able to index protected content
- You can change or remove the password at any time
