Why is My Account Suspended?
At Static.app, we are committed to providing a safe, secure, and abuse-free hosting environment. To protect our platform and users, we may automatically restrict access or suspend accounts under specific conditions.
Automatic Blocking: How It Works
Access to Static.app may be blocked automatically. To reduce spam, abuse, and fraudulent behavior, we use automated systems to ban access from IPs that match patterns commonly associated with malicious or abusive behavior. This includes:
- VPNs and proxies (used to hide location or identity)
- Public networks or cloud provider IPs (often used for automated abuse)
- Apple Private Relay (obscures origin IPs)
- IPs with recent reports of spam or malicious behavior
If you believe you were blocked by mistake, please reach out to us using a non-anonymized network and include your public IP address.
Manual Bans by Static.app Team
We may manually suspend access to specific users who have violated our Terms of Use or platform policies. These are typically repeat offenders or accounts involved in serious abuse. In most cases, these bans are final.
Illegal and Prohibited Activities
Using static.app for illegal or abusive purposes is strictly forbidden. The following activities are grounds for immediate suspension or banning:
- Phishing: Attempting to trick users into giving up sensitive information (e.g., login credentials).
- Malware distribution: Hosting or spreading viruses, ransomware, or spyware.
- Scams and fraud: Fake landing pages, get-rich-quick schemes, crypto scams, or fake giveaways.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be another person, company, or organization.
- Hosting stolen content: Copyright violations, pirated software, or unauthorized media distribution.
- Command-and-control (C2) servers: Using static assets to facilitate control over botnets or malware.
- Child exploitation or abuse content: Zero tolerance – will be reported to authorities.
- Terrorist or extremist propaganda: Including recruitment or radicalization content.
- Sale of illegal goods or services: Drugs, weapons, or counterfeit items.
- SEO spam and link farms: Abuse of static sites to manipulate search engine rankings.
- Cryptojacking scripts: Embedding unauthorized cryptocurrency mining code in websites.
If we detect such behavior, we reserve the right to ban the account, remove the hosted content, and report relevant cases to law enforcement or industry partners.
