Set Up Your Account

Ready to get your website live? Just create an account on Static.app. Our platform is quick, powerful, and easy to use. We want to get you online in minutes, not hours! Here's how to get started.

Step 1: Create an Account

1. Open your web browser and navigate to the Static.app website.
2. Locate and choose the Sign Up or the Upload for Free button.
3. Enter your Email and Password.
4. You may also opt for SSO Sign up with Google.
5. Verify that you have read and agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
6. Select Continue.
7. Check your email inbox for a verification email from Static.app.
8. Select the verification link in the email to confirm your email address.

That's it! Once your account is set up, you'll be redirected to your Static.app dashboard, ready to explore all the powerful features.

Step 2: Getting Your Website Online

After successfully logging in, you will be redirected to the Static.app dashboard. Here’s how to get your first site online in a flash:

1. Look for and select the New Website or New Site button.
2. You'll see an upload area in the interface. You can either:
   1. Drag and drop your .zip archive directly into the designated area.
   2. Alternatively, select Browse to select your .zip file from your computer.
3. Static.app will now automatically unpack your archive, find your website's pages, and prepare them for lightning-fast hosting.
4. Once your archive is successfully processed, you'll land on the Settings page, starting with the General tab. Here, you'll give your website a basic identity within Static.app.
